Apple trees offer fresh fruit production, community gatherings, and green boundaries. The trees produce an abundance of fresh apples, which can be harvested by neighbors spontaneously or as part of a larger gathering. Espalier apple trees establish edible green walls, creating a unique and functional boundary between apartments.
Newly planted trees enhance the urban canopy, support diverse wildlife populations, and mitigate the heat island effect.
Balcony gardens add a personal touch of nature to each apartment and extend greenery throughout the building’s facade.

Shared resources for residents include access to an E cargo bike, bike repair station and outdoor gear (like an inflatable paddle board).

A CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) drop-off, Little Free Library, and dog treat dispenser connect residents and neighbors.
The building is owned and managed by the people who started the project and are rooted in the neighborhood.
